Nurse Practitioner-Psychiatry
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health team.
The Psychiatric NP will provide behavioral health treatment for a wide-variety psychiatric disorders and help with all aspects of patient care including diagnosis, treatment, collaboration and consultations.
Job Qualifications/Job Duties Current registered nurse license and certification in New York State Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic or hospital setting plus at least one year of psychiatric nurse practitioner experience Assesses the patient's general mental health condition by collecting medical histories, administering comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and identifying issues that may be affecting the patient's state of mental health The Nurse Practitioner Collaborates with the psychiatrists and other staff members in the team in managing acute and long-term medical and psychiatric/mental health needs of patients.
Compensation and Benefits We offer nurse practitioners a very competitive salary of $156,000 to $220,000 annually Paid Malpractice Insurance:
